Boat: All good with the boat and sailing very well and very fast
wind at the moment is around 20 kts on our beam so we are speeding along at 7 to 9 knots reaching 10 kts at times
People: we are both ok

Course: true , to Newport Rode island
Conditions: Choppy but good
24-hour mileage: 181 miles with around 1484 miles still to go to Newport

Good sailing however inside this boat is extremely hot and sticky and because its low when the waves break over it they splash you properly and both John and I got swamped yesterday. I got it twice but wasnt completely soaked but John got a big one and was drenched and had to change.
We have nearly completed the trip to BVI and before this evening we will leaving the Caribbean sea and be back in the Atlantic ocean.
With these speeds and this boat we get thrown around a bit and the two of us are getting bounced around like ping pong balls and have to really hold on at times but we are getting used to it and learning to manage the boat
John likes the boat and is enjoying the experience of a short ride on a new toy and i am like an old man and am still hankering on my home Opela but its only because i know her and am comfortable with her
John has been on his Predictawind application and has chosen a path with around 20kts of wind all the way and only a few days of light wind so when that happens he will be able to test the really big sails on the boat and see if the specifications of the boat are true where they claim that in 3 knots of wind with the big sails up we can do 6kts boat speed (thats the kind of thing you see on the Americas cup racing) so we will see
When I was leaving Grenada I told john if he made the boat speed over 11 kts i was jumping off and when he did i saw it was too far to swim but luckily it didnt last long and the boat did ok so i am dry for now and ok
